How We Review

How we research, score, and publish a real operator or exchange review. Every listing follows this so ratings are consistent, defensible, and YMYL-safe. The rubric below is the same one applied to every listing — paid or not. See also our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.

Principles

  1. Independence. We verify facts; we assign the rating. No entity sets or buys its score. Same rubric for everyone, paid or not.
  2. Verify, don't repeat marketing. Operators send promotional copy. Confirm every fact (license, restricted countries, bonus T&Cs) against a primary source.
  3. YMYL bar. Gambling + finance = highest trust bar. Named author, last-updated date, cited sources, honest cons. No fabricated ratings, ever.
  4. Outbound links to operators are sponsored/nofollow by default — even unpaid editorial ones. We don't pass link equity into the gambling/crypto operator neighborhood. Dofollow is reserved and deliberate.

Rating rubric (0–5 per dimension, weighted → overall)

Score each dimension 0–5, then the overall = weighted average (round to 1 decimal). Put the per-dimension scores in rating_breakdown and the overall in rating.

DimensionWeightWhat a 5 looks likeWhat a 1 looks like
Trust & licensing30%Reputable regulator + verifiable license #, long clean history, strong securityNo/again-shady license, unresolved scandals
Payments & payout speed25%Fast verified withdrawals, low/no fees, wide coin support, clear limitsSlow/blocked withdrawals, hidden fees, complaints
Bonus fairness20%Reasonable wagering (≤35x), clear T&Cs, fair max-cashoutPredatory wagering (60x+), buried/abusive terms
Games & product15%Broad library, reputable providers, provably-fair where claimedThin/clone library, unverifiable fairness
Support10%24/7 live, responsive, real helpNone/slow/scripted

Score-meaning scale: 5 excellent · 4 good, minor flaws · 3 average/mixed · 2 below average, real problems · 1 avoid · 0 disqualifying (scam/unlicensed).

Note: bonus is scored on fairness, not size. A huge bonus with 60x wagering scores low. This is a core trust signal and a differentiator vs. affiliate sites that rank by bonus size.

Per-listing research checklist (do all before writing)

  • Entity & owner: legal operator name, parent company, year established.
  • License: regulator name + license number; verify on the regulator's site. If unlicensed, say so plainly and score Trust accordingly.
  • Geo: countries accepted / restricted (note your target markets: PH, IN, CA).
  • Bonus: exact welcome offer, wagering multiplier, max cashout, expiry, game weighting, bonus code. Read the actual T&Cs page.
  • Payments: methods (incl. gcash/maya/upi where relevant), coins, min deposit, withdrawal times + limits, fees. Note KYC requirement.
  • Games: providers, categories, provably-fair (verify the claim if made).
  • Reputation scan: Trustpilot, AskGamblers, Reddit, casino forums — log recurring complaints (withdrawal denials, term changes). Cite what you find.
  • Security: SSL, 2FA, responsible-gambling tools.
  • Sources: keep the URLs you verified against; cite key ones in the review.

Review body structure

  1. Verdict (2–3 sentences: who it's for, the headline strength/weakness).
  2. Who it's for / not for.
  3. Bonus analysis (fairness, real cost of the wagering).
  4. Payments & withdrawals (speed, coins, the part players actually care about).
  5. Games & software.
  6. Trust, licensing & reputation (the YMYL core — what you verified, complaints).
  7. How we tested / sources (E-E-A-T: methodology + cited sources).
